2020 October 31, Edmonton, Alberta—Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) of Church of Christ donated over 200 boxes of essential food items and to Edmonton Food Bank and 100 to Veterans Association of Canada Food Bank.
“The donation is part of the Church’s support to the Covid-19 pandemic response”, said Brother Voltaire Tamisin, supervising district minister of Edmonton.
“The volunteers who supported the campaign were quickly mobilized in a little over a week to aid the community with its urgent need for non-perishable goods. The result was 300 boxes of food,” he continued.
“We’ve been doing this for a while now. Especially these days, when people are going through rough times, all the more, we go out there and keep on helping them”, acknowledged Brother Paquito Ibanez, a minister of the gospel.
The group also presented a cheque donation of $1,000.00 to Edmonton Food Bank.

In an interview with the organizers, the activity synchronizes with the inspired, sustained vision of the FYM Foundation and the many humanitarian initiatives as instructed by the INC Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo:
