OTTAWA, December 8, 2022–Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III extended holiday greetings to Foreign Minister Melanie Joly in an evening reception she hosted on 8 December 2022 for heads of diplomatic missions in Ottawa.

In her remarks to her guests, Minister Joly expressed her interest in continuing her engagement with her foreign counterparts. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who momentarily graced the event, conveyed his appreciation for the efforts of diplomatic missions in Ottawa in promoting a relationship with Canada.
